Apollo is a perfect example of a Jekyl and Hyde character. Apollo is rather hyper in the kennel environment as there’s a lot going on and people around, however take him out that environment and he’s a perfect gentleman. Apollo loves to be out and about meeting people. After an initial bounce around he walks really well on the head. He’s ok around female greyhounds and laid back males. He isn’t overly bothered with other breeds although smaller off lead dogs do grab his attention. Let’s see if there’s a home out there for this beautiful boy.

Aurora will be 5 in July and would love to fid a sofa before her birthday.  This sweet girl will make an excellent addition to any family!

Billy is another long term boy we have on the lookout for a family to join. He has stunning eyes and a stunning nature to boot.,
He is playful and happy. Ideally he would like to be an only boy or to live with a laid back greyhound. He doesn’t like other greyhounds to be in his face and can get a bit grumpy if this happens.

Blake is still with us looking for a family. Please read and if you think you can offer him a sofa then get in touch.
Blake is a 6 year old Blue boy who would prefer to be an only dog. He gets excited with smaller dogs.
In a kennel environment Blake can get a bit uptight and because of this he really doesn’t show his full potential. Blake loves his walks and playtime so perhaps a slightly more active family would be ideal for him.

Black will turn 5 in May, and when you look into his eyes, your heart may well explode. He's living up to his racing name of Explosive Blake!

Lovely Blue boy Boris is approaching 5yo and is hoping to find a home before he hits that milestone. He’s a lovely natured boy who is ever so friendly and affectionate. Currently kenneled with a male companion without any issues. Once out on his walks he walks really well and is happy to go for longer walks. It must have been a bit of forward thinking as just at the time he was born the country went into a lockdown and almost all you were allowed to do outside was walk a dog 😂😂.

Bruno is another black beauty looking for his sofa. Bruno has rather simple needs,
An only dog or a laid back greyhound companion, his own back garden to access and not much more than that.
Once he is on his walk he will walk nicely and calm down after initial excitement however off lead dogs do grab his attention.

Cassie will be a very sweet girl in the correct environment. If you think that you can understand the following needs then Cassie will be just the girl for you.
Cassie is an anxious soul and needs time to absorb change. She certainly doesn’t push herself forward for the limelight so can easily get overlooked.
Cassie would prefer to be an only dog and with a family who have time to spend settling her in.
She can get herself so uptight going to walks that on occasions has made herself sick with nerves.
She sticks to what she knows. Once she is used to her new environment she is very loving.
 
If you are looking for a girl to settle straight into home life then unfortunately Cassie isn’t for you however, if you are willing to spend time with her and understand her nature then please get in touch as Cassie really deserves that special home

Coco is the current kennel entertainer as there’s never a dull moment with this boy around. Even out in the paddocks he decides that a water dish is fair game to have fun with. He would throw it about all day given half a chance. This boy needs an experienced owner who can continue with his training. If you’re looking for a playful chap then look no further.

Corey is a boy that we have looking for a family to adopt him. Corey is a boy that doesn’t really do himself justice and needs a little help.
He is a people dog, he just loves people. He’s not so keen on other dogs in his personal space (sharing beds etc). He has been really well behaved on recent walks, he even walked alongside a buggy. He loves to walk by your side. On occasions he can become a little anxious if he’s out of his comfort zone but once he knows that the world isn’t such a big bad place he’s fine.

Dickie is such a happy, friendly boy who enjoys lots of cuddles.  He and his kennel mate, Meg, have been together since they were 6 months old and they, literally, do everything together.  We would love to keep them together so if anyone is looking for two greyhounds, this bonded pair would be perfect.

Elsa is one of our long stayers and we really don't know why.  She loves people almost as much as she loves food.  On walks, she can be very reactive with other breeds and would need an experienced owner but, please someone give this girl a chance.

Franco is a really lovely natured boy and deserves a sofa to put his paws on. He is very affectionate and is now ready to move on. He likes the outdoors and walk times. He also enjoys his playtime in the paddocks. He gets on with other greyhounds. Small furries and squirrels are not his friends and so far this has been the only time we have seen him get over enthusiastic

Frankie is a beautiful black boy who would benefit from being the only dog in a house.  He is very people orientated and he would love to find his own people.
He gets excited at off lead dogs and small fluffies grab his attention.

In the kennel Fred is a really laid back boy who doesn’t push for attention and is happy to take a back seat. You really wouldn’t know he’s around. Kennelled with a male companion with no issues. Fred suffered a broken leg however this is fully healed and causes him no issues and there was no metalwork needed. He is a real gentleman of a dog and deserves the sofa he has requested.  Fred doesn't initially react to any other breeds, however, he doesn't like other dogs bouncing around in his face,

Gail is another girl we have looking for her home. Gail has been a mummy prior to joining us and it’s easy to see that with her gentle friendly nature she would have made a fabulous mother. Gail is very clean and loves her walks. Gets on really well with other greyhounds so would fit in to an existing pack or as an only girl. Gail couldn’t be homed with small dogs as she gets a little overwhelmed with them and gets herself very excited

George is a lovely looking boy and a bit of a character. George can be kennelled with another greyhound with little issue however he is known to be a little impatient at feeding time

This boy was told “You will never walk alone” and once you see his beautiful affectionate nature you may need a pacemaker to regulate your fluttering heart. You’ve (hopefully) guessed it here is Gerry looking for his sofa. He’s 3 years old and just loves people. Kisses and cuddles are also top of his list of needs.
So anyone wishing to adopt this boy need to have relevant experience of sighthound ownership or experience of dealing with reactivity as Gerry gets a little keen on little dogs.

Harry is now a senior boy who forgets he is getting on in years. Initially, Harry is rather bouncy when he knows it’s walk time however when he’s out he will settle down quickly. On recent outings he has shown no great reaction to what’s going on around him. If he was joining a friend it would need to be a really laid back girl that could accept his bouncing until he settles down or ideally as an only boy.

Huey has been with us for over 2 years and he would really like to find his forever sofa.
Huey has had a rather topsy Turvy time.
He has never raced after breaking a leg badly. His leg has been pinned and plated and he has fully recovered (you wouldn’t know from looking at him he injured it)
He arrived with us after another large London based homing organisation deemed him unhomeable. He isn’t straight forward and needs an experienced owner.
His needs are as follows
Only dog or a laid back companion
No mixed breeds as he is excitable around them.
His Toileting has been erratic and he needs his own garden.
Anyone who looks over these issues which are all workable will get a very loving and happy boy looking to please.

Joe is now a 6 year old boy who loves to give lots of cuddles, be careful though if he catches your eye he will pounce up with his paws on your shoulders.  He can be a bit pully on walks but its just through excitement.

We really can't understand why this boy hasn't been snapped up yet.  He is only 3 years old, gorgeous, friendly - what's not too like?
​Joey enjoys his play time with other greyhounds. He does get excited when he sees other breeds however it appears to be in a friendly playful manner. Joey loves cuddles and playtime, he can also give a paw.

Jordan has just turned 3 years old and he’s a really affectionate boy. Jordan is quite a slight boy who weighs less than 30 kilos. He walks really well when out on a walk. So far he has been friendly with both male and female greyhounds. As yet he’s untested with other breeds. This blue boy will hopefully find a family soon.

Joseph has no intention of heading to Bethlehem; he doesn’t accept that there’s no room at the inn. He hopes there’s plenty of room on your sofa. Now Joseph would prefer his own garden as his constitution needs a little help to be regular. He’s a small boy weighing around 28.5 kilos. The worry of the census journey has added a little greying to his muzzle. Joseph is the brother of Rudolph and also Prancer who was previously homed and adapted to home life.

Keanu is looking for a home to chill out in. Loves the outdoors would walk all day. He is very friendly and will make a lovey addition to your home. Excitable around smaller dogs particularly off lead. He is rather a curious boy in fact some would say downright nosey.
Keanu is extremely strong on the lead so would need an experienced owner who can work with him to overcome this.

Lady turns 6 this year and is looking for a comfy sofa to chill out on. She almost made it to 150 races, but today the only racing she wants to do is into your arms!

Lady is quite an active girl who loves playing with her greyhound friends.  She isn't a fan of small furries but could live with another greyhound or on her own.

Le fou is an exuberant happy go lucky boy who has joined us to look for his sofa. There will never be a dull moment with this boy about.

Lochie has recently had a bit of dental work done from which he has fully recovered and is desperate to find a family of his own. When he arrived he was very pully at the park walks and took a lot out of himself. He has now calmed down and learned to walk better and is feeling the benefit of it. He can be a little reactive with other breeds.  He is now 6 years odl gets on with other greyhounds so a pack member or only boy he would fit in. He is also very clean in his kennel and thus indicates that house training would be straightforward enough.

Louis turns 6 in May, he only raced a few times and has been waiting almost 3 years for his forever home.  Let's get that sorted out!!

Lucky says when (not if) you fall for him, you will feel very lucky to have him in your life.  He only raced 30 times as he decided playtime was better than racing.

Marvin turns 6 in April, and by the look of those ears, he's listening carefully to see if there's a comfy couch sneaking up on him.

Meg is a gorgeous dark brindle girl with a sweet, playful nature.  Her and Dickie haven't put a foot wrong in the time we've had them.  They really are the perfect couple.

Mikey is another black beauty looking for a sofa. Mikey has been a pleasure since arriving. He gets on with other greyhounds although he isn’t a fan of them being in his face and can tell them off if his space is intruded. He will make a lovely pet and some family will be really lucky.

Nath turns 6 in September, he's a cheeky chappy and thinks his forever home is so close he can almost taste it - at least judging by that tongue!

Nero is a rather handsome if not slightly cheeky boy looking for his sofa. Since his arrival he has been paw perfect in everything he has done. Nero is a dog that would adapt to most circumstances, initially, on a walk he is excitable but soon calms himself down. Currently kennelled with a male mate we believe he would seamlessly fit into an existing pack. Nero has been well handled and is used to both adult and child company.
Nero continues to improve out on walks, he still pulls initially and off lead dogs do get his attention but he is easily distracted.  He is such a lovely boy and really deserves his forever home.

Pepe is a 3-year-old blue boy who is a little shy and reserved to start but opens up after a bit of time to adjust. He's a gentle soul looking for a comfy retirement.

Prince hopes a family will fall for him as he’s so charming.

Prince is such a happy go lucky friendly boy. He gets on well with other greyhounds. With a little time he should be able to happily live with other breeds. Prince loves people and getting plenty of attention. He walks well on the lead and is regularly walked by our young helpers at the kennel so children are no issue to him.

Richie is just the sweetest friendliest boy. Very playful nature and will play all day.,Now in the fun of play Richie can get over excited and forgets his manners and has been known to give you a friendly nibble at playtime. For this reason we would not consider a home with young children as a suitable environment.

Rosa is a girl who is a little shy when she first meets you, however, this doesn't last long.
She’s a little skittish around sudden movements however she more than makes up for this in every other way.  She loves running in the paddock.

Sal had a distinguished racing career - over 100 races run. Now she's looking to relax and put her feet up.  She's only 5, don't let the white around her face put you off, she's still a happy playful girl with loads of loving to give.

Scar had a brief racing career, with only 34 races. He realised the fastest time was always going to be "dinner time" so there was no point chasing anything else and now he's looking for somewhere comfy to chill out.

Scottie is a friendly boy looking for a family to join. He’s a playful boy who loves little attention. He is very keen to please and after an initial carry on he walks really well. Small dogs grab his attention but then again he isn’t a small dog.

Next up looking for a family is Simon. Now Simon falls into the category of a black boy however we are asking people to look beyond the colour and think about his overall attributes.
Friendly boy who gets on with every greyhound he’s been kennelled with after initial introductions.
He loves a playtime in the paddock Simon is very used to children so will make a proper family dog.

Storm joined us in November 2023 to look for his sofa; in that time, he has not had a single enquiry.
Now, Storm is not the most straightforward boy as he is reactive to other dogs; however, this has improved, and we feel it will continue to improve if he’s in a home environment and meets them on walks regularly.
Storm isn’t particularly a large boy, and we have successfully homed other dogs with the same issues as Storm, so we are at the stage where we can’t understand why he’s continually overlooked. Is it because he's a black boy? This could have a bearing on it as some of the others we have homed were coloured dogs.
In the correct home, with time, patience, and a will to succeed, Storm will make a fantastic pet; all he needs is a chance.

Ted is a smaller sized male with a big character. Out on walks he can be quite pully and excited around small dogs. Nature wise he’s friendly and is quite food orientated. If he was to join an existing pack it would ideally with female company.

Tilt is another one of our gorgeous black boys who is looking for his sofa.  He is approaching his senior years and really deserves a loving family to call his own.  Tilt is very friendly, cuddly and eager to please.

Tommy is a stunning big boy, he is very friendly and loves his cuddles.  He doesn't realise he is a 35kg boy.  Hasn't shown any reactions to other breeds on walks, although rabbits do catch his interest.

Vanas is a playful, happy young boy who is keen to make everyone around him happy. His tail rarely stops - even while sleeping. 
He walks well on the lead without reacting to any breeds encountered, even off the lead. He is good with kids but can occasionally snatch treats - once. He calms down after the first one and takes them very gently. He's very food-oriented and gets too excited before remembering his manners.
Vanas is not cat-safe or small-furry-safe. He was in a home with another male dog with no issues, so he would fit nicely into an existing pack.
As he is young, he is still quite excitable and curious about life - this should make training easy for him.

Will is looking out and wondering if he can find a sofa to relax on. Will is 5 years old and is full of fun. He has a lovely character and really loves the outdoors. He gets on with his male kennel mate with no issues. He is a strong boy especially if he decides to jump up for a cuddle, however he walks relatively well for being such a big bundle of fun.  Whoever gives Will a chance on their sofa won't be disappointed.
